How has communism affected China?

- China censors their newspapers
- This ensures that no news gets out that could deem the regime cruel, unjust, uncaring
- China’s constitution protects freedom of speech, press, right to trial, etc.
- Many of these laws are not fully fulfilled and the judicial system China created has no particular method for revision of new laws.
China may seem behind or unpleasant due to 20th century propaganda but the country seems to become more and more westernized as each day passes. China ensures their citizens many of the same rights as western countries but these rights are not protected to the extent that America is. In order to keep the regime popular and not criticized the Chinese government censors any information deemed as a bad reputation. Chinese officials realize the boom of the technology industry and censorship, privacy, and public ownership has become serious ethical issues for China.
