The greatest empire’s always come to a fall, including the Roman Empire. The author Evan Andrews talks about the key points on how the empire fell. The source is History channel. It is a very reliable source and very well known.

The Romans had been on a decline recently, but towards its last years it was on a very steep decline. Many things were wrong about the empire.”300s “barbarian” groups like the Goths had encroached beyond the Empire’s borders” The Romans had a very hard time with the constant attacks from the hundred different barbaric tribes wanting to bring it down.”it was also crumbling from within thanks to a severe financial crisis.” The economy kept crumbling with the amount of poor people in the country and the number kept getting larger and larger. The government was corrupt ever since Caesar was assassinated. “The fate of Western Rome was partially sealed in the late third century, when the Emperor Diocletian divided the Empire into two halves” This actually caused a lot of crisis since one side was getting treated better. Similar to the Berlin Wall when one side was getting completely short changed. This split angered the people.”With such a vast territory to govern, the empire faced an administrative and logistical nightmare.” This is the biggest reason. The Roman had such a big territory they couldn't keep up to maintain all the parts. Everyone was spread out and more and more people became the rebelling the government causing chaos. The Roman Empire came to an end in 1453. Which the empire lasted for over a thousand years and it ended 40 years before Christopher Columbus found North America, which when you put it into perspective isn't that much.

  1. I found it interesting to be that the Roman Empire took a massive fall a few stages before its decline. You can improve your posts by adding a bit more of preview into your intro. You could add more background before the evidence and describe your analysis more in depth.
