Ever wonder how the Romans spent their days. The Romans had a very interesting day, from some form of school to a bloody fights. There is no direct author of this source. The website that I found this information on BBCwhich is a very trustworthy site known for its information. It is a very popular site that is reliable and correct.

The Romans daily life was somewhat similar to ours. It was different if you were rich and poor. You would be very grateful if you were eating meat and you were poor. If you were rich it wouldn't be as shocking. The father would get all the power, just like always. “Father had the power of life or death over everyone. When a new baby was born it would be laid at its father's feet - if the father picked the baby up it would live, but if he ignored the baby it would be taken away to die.” The mother had a very hard life. They would be the cook unless they were rich then they would have their slave cook the food for them.”Being a woman was very dangerous they would most likely die at 30 because childbirth would kill their mother most of the time” The girls would usually be married at the age of 14.” They would usually not go to school unless they were wealthy. They were typically tutored by the Greek slaves who were usually well educated.” The schools were normally located in the center of the town but if they did not go the wealthy would have well educated Greek slaves that would tutor the children. The hobbies that they would do or attend is  “They also went to the local gladiatorial fights were men would fight to the death. There could be more than one in and the people wanted it as bloody as possible when they fought” The Romans loved to watch these they were the most popular forms of entertainment. There were also chariot races and theatre. The theatre had no woman on it and allowed only three people on stage at a time. The wealthy would sit in the front and the poor would sit in the way back along with the woman. The only thing left to talk about is the fall of the Roman Empire.

    1. I liked how you started with a question. Next time, work on transitions, order of sentences, and grammar. Also try to use a better selection of words (ex: not rich, use wealthy)
