The Culture and history of Japan is a lot similar to China that people from other places such as the US can get confused to these similar Cultures. Japan is a place for samurais and ninjas, evidence hasn’t shown if they really exist or not. Even I am not sure if they still exists. Japan had a big influence with the Chinese Culture. They have tea, kimonos, and the language is similar. Now, Why is the kimonos the similar thing to Chinese Culture. It’s because that Kimonos are similar to the ancient Chinese people wear. They all have the similar layer that the women must wear. They even have sash on their waist to hold their dress in place. Except the way of doing the sash is different. The Japanese have so many holidays that am going to name one of the many. This holiday is called  Children's day or Boys day. Children’s day is the type of day where the children can play and enjoy themselves with their family. They use carp to put outside and the use to decorate their place with samurai armor. They can even eat a lot tasty looking treats. The religions in Japan and Shinto and Buddhism. Religion is not really big in Japan. There are a small percentage of people that are religious. Some people in Japan consider themselves religious. The Japanese Religion of Buddhism and Shinto  is the major religion of Japan. The founder of Japan is unknown. But it was believed that the founder of Japan is Jimmu at 600 B.C. However that’s only the Founder of Japan: A Legend. The language of the Japanese is influenced by the Chinese, Korean, and other languages from the Asian Countries. The Food that Japanese people eat are mostly of rice, pickled vegetables, miso soup, and a side dish. When the people of Japan receive their food, they say Itadakimasu or I receive this meal. Once that they are finished they say gochisosama deshita or thank you for the feast and then leave the table. Like China and in Korea, they use chopsticks to pick up their food. They also drink soup without a spoon as well. They just lift the bowl and then drink it.
